Samantha Williams is a project manager, technical director, and scenic artisan based in Washington, D.C.

I graduated from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2022 with a concentration in technical direction, and found a passion for project management along the way! My time at CMU instilled in me a powerful work ethic, experience in multiple entertainment leadership positions, and a strong sense of how to create positive community. I was also able to delve into other disciplines of theatre, particularly scenic design, giving me a well rounded, understanding approach to my leadership strategies on diverse teams. While at CMU I was awarded the Pittsburgh Drama Alumni Clan Award for community involvement with current and former students. I was also a teaching assistant, a season selection committee member, and worked on dozens of productions in multiple roles.

My goal is to work professionally in the entertainment industry as a project manager, and to one day use my love of learning and dedication to entertainment to be an arts educator for younger generations. As a leader, I have made empathy, equity, and communication are the pillars of my values, and I am eager to share them with all that I cross paths with.
